Nyaire is a modern American coinage with "no established meaning", apparently blending the Ny- opening of names like Nyair and Nasir with the ending of Zaire; parents usually choose it for its sound rather than for an etymology. It is part of a family of creative spellings that includes Nyair, Nyere and Naire. Nyaire was almost unheard of in 2015 and has climbed every year since to number 1749 among boys' names in 2025, its best rank yet.
