Noelia is the Spanish feminine form of Noel and means "Christmas", from the Latin natalis dies, the birthday of Christ. It is a familiar name in Spain, Argentina and Puerto Rico, and the Puerto Rican singer Noelia helped it along in the late 1990s. In the United States Noelia ranked number 784 in 2000, peaked at number 729 in 2001 and has since dropped out of the top 1000, standing at number 1405 in 2025.
