Noa is a Hebrew girls' name, quite separate from Noah: in the Book of Numbers Noa is one of the five daughters of Zelophehad who won the right to inherit their father's land, and the name is usually explained as "movement" or "motion". It has been the most popular girls' name in Israel for years and is a favorite in Spain and the Netherlands as well. Noa entered the US top 1000 in 2014 and has climbed from number 767 in 2015 to number 226 in 2025, its best rank to date.
