Mylani is a modern American coinage of "uncertain origin", usually read as a blend of Mylah or Milani with the Hawaiian ending -lani, "heavenly", that American parents know from Leilani and Kehlani. It has no traditional history and belongs to the wave of -lani names that rose in the 2010s and 2020s. Mylani stood at number 6183 in 2015 and has climbed in fits and starts to number 2528 in 2025, its best rank so far, with 70 births.
