Milagros is the Spanish word for "miracles" and comes from the Marian title Nuestra Señora de los Milagros, Our Lady of Miracles; girls named after this devotion are usually called Mili or Mila at home. The name is used across Spain and Latin America, especially in Peru and Argentina. In the US Milagros peaked at number 729 in 2008, left the top 1000 in the 2010s and has recovered a little to number 1545 in 2025.
