Kyron is a modern American name of uncertain origin, usually explained as a respelling of the Irish Kieran, "little dark one", or as a blend of the Ky- sound with names like Byron and Tyrone. It has been used mainly in African American communities since the 1990s. Kyron entered the top 1000 in 2010, when it peaked at number 822, and has since dropped to number 1896 in 2025.
