Kynlee is a modern American spelling of Kinley, which comes from the Scottish surname MacKinley, from the Gaelic Mac Fhionnlaigh, "son of the fair warrior". The y and the -lee ending put it squarely in the family of Brynlee and Paisley. In the United States Kynlee entered the top 1000 in 2010, peaked at number 552 in 2017 and has slid since, leaving the top 1000 in 2023 and standing at number 1401 in 2025.
