Kulture is a respelling of the word culture, which comes from the Latin cultura and means "cultivation" or "refinement". The name was created by rapper Cardi B and Offset for their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, born in 2018, and it entered the charts the following year. In the United States Kulture went from number 6895 in 2019 to number 2759 in 2024 and ranks at number 2875 in 2025.
