Kiyomi is a Japanese name usually written with the characters kiyo, "pure", and mi, "beauty", and so means "pure beauty"; like most Japanese names it can be written with other kanji that change the meaning. It is rare in the United States outside Japanese American families but has the easy, melodic sound that American parents prize in names like Naomi and Kalani. Kiyomi broke into the US top 1000 for the first time in 2025 at number 765.
