Keilani is a Hawaiian name, usually explained as "heavenly chief" or "glorious sky", from kei, glory or pride, and lani, heaven or royal; it is also treated as a spelling variant of Kehlani and Kalani. The name joined the wave of Hawaiian names such as Leilani and Kehlani that swept the United States in the late 2010s.
