Kamila is the Polish, Czech and Slovak form of Camilla, a name that goes back to the Latin camillus, a youth who assisted at Roman religious ceremonies, and so it means "attendant at a ritual" or "acolyte". In Arabic the same spelling is an independent name meaning "perfect" or "complete". Kamila entered the US top 1000 in 2006, peaked at number 214 in 2020 and ranks number 357 in 2025.
