In the United States the name is inseparable from actress Farrah Fawcett, whose feathered hair defined the late 1970s. Farrah had a small revival in the 2010s, entering the top 1000 in 2010 and peaking at number 541 in 2011, then slipped out again after 2016 and ranks number 1328 in 2025.
