Denali is the Koyukon Athabaskan name of the highest mountain in North America and means "the high one" or "the great one". The Alaskan peak was officially called Mount McKinley for most of the 20th century until its native name was restored in 2015, and the surrounding national park also carries it. As a girls' name Denali has stayed in the low 2000s for years, reaching number 2053 in 2022 and number 2338 in 2025.
