Demarion is a modern American name that joins the fashionable prefix De- with Marion, a medieval French form of Mary, so it is usually glossed as "beloved" or "of Mary". It arose in African American naming alongside Demarcus and Jamarion and has no older history. In the United States Demarion entered the top 1000 in 2004, peaked at number 670 in 2005 and has since fallen to number 2848 in 2025.
