Delijah is a modern American coinage that places the De- prefix of names like Demarcus and Deshawn in front of Elijah, a Hebrew name meaning "my God is Yahweh". It is a boys' name that shares its ending with the girls' favorite Delilah. Delijah has barely registered until now, but it leaped from number 6546 in 2024 to number 1589 in 2025, its first notable ranking.
