Chevelle is a modern American name taken from the Chevrolet Chevelle, the "muscle car" built from 1964 to 1977 that remains a classic among collectors. As a girls' name it joins Mercedes, Shelby and Bentley in the small club of car-inspired names and sounds like a blend of Chevy and Michelle. Chevelle peaked at number 1075 in 2019 and stands at number 1912 in 2025.
