Ashlynn is the double-n spelling of Ashlyn, an American blend of Ashley and Lynn read as "ash tree meadow" and "lake", sometimes also linked to the Irish Aisling, "dream". The extra n followed the fashion of names like Kaitlynn and Brooklynn in the 2000s. Ashlynn peaked at number 237 in 2010, slipped out of the US top 1000 in 2024 and is back at number 980 among girls' names in 2025.
