Raylee is a modern American combination of Ray, from the French rai, "beam of light", and the popular ending -lee, in the manner of Kaylee and Rylee. It is best understood as a "blend of Ray and Kaylee" rather than a name with an old history, and it fits a family that includes Raelynn and Raleigh.
