Korbyn is a modern spelling of Corbin, a Norman French surname from the Latin corvus, meaning "raven" or "little crow", once given to someone with raven-black hair. The K and y give it the same look as Kolton and Kayden, which were popular at the same time. Korbyn touched the US top 1000 just once, at number 983 in 2020, and has since slipped to number 1628 in 2025.
