Khaza is a modern name of uncertain origin, usually linked to the Arabic word khazina and read as "treasure". Its sudden visibility in the United States owes much to the rapper Kevin Gates, who gave the name to his son and titled his 2022 album Khaza. The name jumped into the top 1000 in 2022, peaked at number 802 in 2023, fell back out in 2024 and ranks 1199 in 2025.
