Kailee is one of the many spellings of Kaylee, a modern American name that blends Kay and Lee and is sometimes linked to the Irish caol, "slender". The name family was enormously popular in the 1990s and 2000s, and the -ee ending was a favorite of that era. Kailee ranked number 504 in 2000 and number 493 in 2003, but has slipped from number 812 in 2015 to number 1969 in 2025.
