Ivaan is a spelling used mainly in Indian families; it is usually explained either as a form of Ivan, the Slavic John meaning "God is gracious", or as a modern Indian name read as "gift of God". The doubled a follows a pattern seen in Ayaan and Rayaan. In the United States Ivaan climbed from number 3266 in 2015 to number 1000 in 2022, its only year in the top 1000, and ranks number 1030 in 2025.
