Haddie is a nickname that stands on its own, usually a pet form of Hadassah, the Hebrew name of Queen Esther that means "myrtle", or of Hadley, an English surname meaning "heather field". Its sound places it among the vintage-cute names Hattie, Maddie and Hallie. In the United States Haddie ranked number 10182 in 2000, peaked at number 1332 in 2017 and stands at number 2027 in 2025.
