Emad is an Arabic name, a form of Imad, and means "pillar" or "support", in the sense of someone the family or faith can lean on; the fuller form Imad ad-Din means pillar of the religion. It is common in Egypt and the Levant. In the United States Emad stood at number 4860 in 2000, stayed in the 3000s to 6000s for years and reached number 2951 in 2025, its best rank so far.
