Celina is a Polish, German and Spanish form of Celine, which comes from the Latin Caelina, derived from caelum, "heaven"; it is also used as a spelling of Selina, from the Greek moon goddess Selene, "moon". Celina ranked number 766 in 2000, its best rank in this century, spent two decades just outside the US top 1000 and returned in 2024; it ranks number 829 in 2025.
