Advait comes from the Sanskrit advaita and means "non-dual" or "unique", literally "without a second". The word is best known from Advaita Vedanta, the school of Hindu philosophy that teaches the oneness of the self and the absolute. In the United States the name is used by families of Indian heritage; it has climbed slowly from number 3231 in 2015 to number 2482 in 2025, its best rank so far.
